These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of LUMAMAP (“LumaMap,” the “Service”), operated by A Bit Lavish LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to create an account. If you use LumaMap for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
LumaMap is browser-based projection mapping software for creating zones, assigning visual content and effects, controlling projector outputs, sequencing shows, and planning projection surfaces and projector placement.
You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, security risks, nonpayment, material violations of these Terms, or unlawful activity.
LumaMap may offer Free, Basic, Pro, Agency, or other plans. Current features and prices are shown in the Service or at Checkout. As of this update, Basic is offered at $9.99/month and Pro at $49/month. Agency access may be offered separately or in private beta, and pricing or availability may differ.
Eligible users may receive a 7-day full-access trial with no credit card required. The app-level trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. To continue on a paid plan after the trial, you must actively choose a paid plan and complete Stripe Checkout.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You authorize recurring charges according to the selected plan until cancellation. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
You may cancel through the Stripe-hosted billing portal available from LumaMap. Unless otherwise stated at cancellation, access remains active through the end of the applicable paid or trial period.
We may change prices or plan features. For material changes affecting an active paid subscription, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
LumaMap currently follows a local-first project model. Project files in the .abl format, including packaged project media where supported, are saved to and managed on your device. You are responsible for saving, backing up, securing, and maintaining your project files.
You retain ownership of content you create or import. You represent that you have the rights necessary to use, display, project, reproduce, and otherwise process that content. If you voluntarily transmit content to us for support or another feature, you grant us only the limited rights reasonably necessary to provide that feature or support request.
LumaMap, including its source code, compiled code, user-interface artwork, original graphics, audiovisual elements, documentation, original animation implementations, templates, branding, logos, website content, and other protectable materials, is owned by A Bit Lavish LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use LumaMap for its intended purpose. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
Except where applicable law expressly prohibits a restriction, you may not, without our prior written permission:
If you voluntarily send product suggestions or feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve LumaMap without restriction or compensation, provided we do not claim ownership of your unrelated proprietary content.
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
LumaMap uses third-party services including Firebase/Google for authentication, Stripe for payments and subscription management, Vercel for hosting and server functions, and Resend for transactional email. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
We may modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser APIs, projector hardware, display permissions, operating-system behavior, network conditions, or third-party services may affect functionality.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMAMAP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, A BIT LAVISH LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, PROJECT FILES, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO LUMAMAP.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LUMAMAP DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless A Bit Lavish LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law, disputes will be brought in state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
We may update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated by email, in-app notice, or other reasonable means. The updated effective date will appear above. Where required by law, we will request renewed consent.

You may not use LumaMap to create, display, project, distribute, or facilitate content or conduct that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
You are responsible for venue permission, projector placement, mounting, electrical safety, laser/light restrictions, accessibility, intellectual-property clearances, and any permits required for your event or installation. LumaMap planning outputs are not a substitute for professional installation or manufacturer specifications.
We may investigate suspected abuse and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, third parties, or our legal rights. We may preserve or disclose information when required by law.
To report suspected infringement, unauthorized copying of LumaMap materials, scraping, abuse, or security issues, use the contact information in the Contact section and include sufficient detail for us to review the report.

Stripe processes payment methods, invoices, subscription status, billing events, and related payment information. We do not store your full card number on LumaMap servers.
Resend processes the email address and delivery metadata necessary to send account, billing, trial, and service notifications from LumaMap.
Vercel and other infrastructure providers may process server logs and technical information such as IP address, browser/user-agent information, request timing, and error information necessary to host, secure, diagnose, and operate the Service.
LumaMap project files and user-selected media are processed in your browser and, when you save a project, stored locally on your device in the .abl project format. We do not currently provide cloud storage for those project files or media. Local browser storage may also contain preferences, autosave/recovery data, language settings, and plan cache information.
We may share the minimum information reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate LumaMap, including:
We do not sell personal information.
LumaMap uses authentication-related browser storage and localStorage for functionality such as sign-in state, language preference, local autosave/recovery, and limited plan caching. We do not currently use LumaMap project storage as an advertising-data service.
We retain account information while the account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and business records. Stripe and other providers retain data according to their own policies and applicable law. Billing and accounting records may be retained for periods required by tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about our processing. You may also have rights regarding marketing communications. Transactional or legally required messages may still be sent where permitted.

We use HTTPS, authenticated server endpoints, third-party authentication, server-side billing credentials, and other technical and organizational measures intended to protect the Service. No internet service or storage method can be guaranteed 100% secure.
LumaMap is operated from the United States and may use service providers located in or processing data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where applicable, users may have rights under local privacy law, including GDPR/EEA or state privacy laws in the United States.
LumaMap accounts are intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means where required by law.
